This is Irish, our sweet kitten. Well I guess she is not really a kitten anymore. She is/was so sweet. She liked everyone. Then the day after these pictures were taken she was all dirty and sick. And scared! She kept looking behind her. Even the children frightened her, just walking by. I thought maybe she fell or got caught by a stray dog or coyote. She really started to look bad so I gave her some antibiotic that I had left from the horse accident. Tiny little pills that the horse took by the tablespoonful. It seemed to help. I removed a tick and prayed it wasnt Lyme's. I got the pills in her about three times. Then when she was really feeling more herself and letting us touch her we saw it. A whole in her from a bebe gun shot. WOW, thats about all I can say. Really, someone shot the sweetest cat alive. Mother said to remember that cats have nine lives : )  Miss Irish is  feeling back to her sweet self. Hope she doesnt wander where ever it was that they like to shoot cats. I guess that explains why she was so afraid. So now I can be afraid for her.
Here she is napping on Poppy's hat.
People around here should get a hobby or something other than shooting cats. I mean really, if she were bothering someone you could throw water at her and  I have never had a cat that water didnt shew away.

Here are my FRIENDLY neighbors, they like kitties : )
