I would feel sad if I didnt have flowers outside my door.
We are filling up the wood rings for winter. It can snow early here some years.
Snow blower always ready. Summer cooler : )   Miss Irish and bunches of shoes....We try to leave the shoes on the outside.

Mr. Wooly Bear says...................................mild winter with all that brown.........we shall see

May your path lead you to Jesus.
And just in case your wondering if we get any snow???????????

You will have to ask my little snow fairy....................

We went to the zoo again. The only thing keeping the tigers in, is this chain link fence. You can get super close to them and they are chubby. That is probably motivation to lay down and sleep. They are usually just snoozing. They roar really cool. We always joke that we dont want to be the last ones in here at night though.

We love to see all the families that come from near and far to our little zoo. These children where so well behaved. There were too many(never really too many : )  to get in the photo. I tried to respect their privacy and not get their faces. There were a few more outside the photo. It was really hot. They were dressed in what we would consider very warm for this time of year. The children were cheerful and uncomplaining each time we encountered them. We spent some time feeding the monkeys with them. They were speaking what I suppose was Russian.  Beautiful family.
My little monkeys in the jail???????This is one of their favorite things in the museum part of the zoo. The first town jail. It barely fits children. I guess the criminals were tiny a long time ago : )
Your never to big for a trip down the slide.

We always enjoy the buildings with the many old cars and motorcycles.
The dragon fly girl heehee this one was well preserved. She laid him gently on a very nice old car.
It was so warm that this bear was sitting in this deep whole that the zookeepers dug and filled with water. He was enjoying himself so much. We threw little pieces of carrots at him and he gulped them up from the water without budging from his nice cool spot.

This very old and rare horse drawn child's hearse always fascinates me. I  feel the ache for lost little ones that have gone on before.
Time for one last little slide and home we go  : )

These funny little mushrooms started popping up this week.
Over night they changed. Just like life. Just like that. . A different look on the journey. Ever feel like that? Im pretty sure its till me......Im just more puffy or more squshed......or something
They started out little and cute. Now they are big  and different.  Still interesting though. I kept telling the kids, careful dont step on my mushrooms. And dont let the ponies eat them. They are forever gobbling up mushrooms.
Speaking of once little and cute. Look at my last little. She is nearly as tall as me. We have been going to the zoo alot this summer. Season passes make it so nice. We just jump in my wagon and go visiting. We enjoy seeing all the people too. They come for the day from so many different places.
We even went with some friends from a long time ago. Its nice when people pop out of the blue and you cant pick up right where you last were. Even eight years ago. Sherrie and I were all nostalgic about our long ago walks up around the lake when they were babies. Ha ha they are still our babies.
They were about two the last time they really got to play together. They got on perfectly then, as well as now.
Caleb is pretty much always able to get on well with his little sister. Aside from the occasional we spend every waking hour of every waking day together, once in awhile squabbles. I wasnt sure how adding one boy to the mix would go. She can get very shy. Cody is such a friendly, fun kid. They all had a great time. Its unusal for us to feel so relaxed around other children. We have found that other children rarely like to play outside anymore. We are outside people. My kids get dirty and that seems to take alot of kids by surprise. Kids dont get dirty anymore......it all washes off. So why not? We got Cody good and dirty the first visit and his mom didnt mind a bit.

This was a cool  hobbity tree and the sign says PLEASE WALK ON THE GRASS  heehee my kind of place.

My two are always running to jump in the jail. This little jail never gets passed up. So today they took Cody friend with them.

?.? could it be? is it possible? I have actually uploaded a video? I have been trying to upload a couple of things for months. I almost figured I just wouldnt blog. Im pretty sure only me mother and two or three friends even see it. Its been a long summer. Hot and sunny for the most part. Lots of highs and lows personally. My oldest daughter had a bad accident on her way up to see me. Praise the Lord she and the baby were not seriously hurt. The cause of the accident wasnt the greatest. Apparently she was seizing at the accident scene. She bit her tongue pretty good and her set belt seems to have injured her c section. She is sixteen weeks pregnant and pretty worried. I never thought I would see the blessing in hitting a telephone pole, but it caused people to take notice and come to help her. She could have been unconscious and alone (well not alone as the baby was with her). It was very hot and they could have been on the side of the road without anyone taking notice. I pray she get the answer to her health concerns soon.

I have been thinking alot about a blog I was reading alot. Interesting family. Interesting life (nomads) who are going through a terrible trial. They lost their little baby and they have to go on. For the sake of the others. And because thats the way our heavenly father has allowed it.  I too have laid a little white coffin in the ground. Fifteen years ago on August 5. I cant believe the years have gone so far on. She is still apart of our life. I look at her sweet little face everyday. I thank God for her little life. I still long to see her, smell her little baby ness. But she has gone on before me. I look forward to seeing her again someday, on the other side. I was reading a good Bible study that the man was saying that babies will come back in the first resurrection. To live during a millennial period where Christ reigns and she will have the chance to become a believer. That makes me happy. I believe she is with Him now. The blog is called Sparkling Adventures. If nothing else, do pray for mercy for her and the family. Its difficult to lose a little baby. She is doing so well, but its so fresh. I pray she will cling to the Saviour and stay well. I know she is learning much. I have learned much from watching.

This is a fun time of year for us as far as Home Schooling, homeschooling, un schooling...... goes . Because this week we get to order our books. I love to order books. We also are ordering videos. We get to what we get to and we took the dare you not to learn something today challenge.......and well thats impossible. HA  TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE.... I love homeschooling as we never stop learning and yet we can learn and process at our own pace....which I love. Well I guess I am blogging , I wonder if my video is clear. I am just going to post it and see what happens. Happy learning and do stay put in the only safe place there is ......Jesus's  arms   : )
