I will say it again. HAPPY SPRING!    I said it the other day, but blogger just doesn't want to upload my photos. Well anyway today is really the first day of  spring. The equinox. Latin for equal night. The winter has been a long one. The equal light is welcome. I am always amazed that just a bit more "light" changes everything.

I have been reading a great book. Shirt of Flame: A Year With Saint Therese of Lisieux. I have been reading all of Heather Kings books this month. I have been so blessed and encouraged by them. The first one I read " Parched" was her memoir. Shirt of Flame is set in chapters and reflections with the calender. I am reading and pondering all I can. That's me pondering below in the sunshine. And it feels so good. I will leave with the prayer I am on today:
Help me to refrain from lashing out at others when I'm feeling that everything I've worked for has come to naught.
Help me to remember that Christ himself died the most ignominious of deaths, his life's work an apparent failure.
Help me rejoice in the prosperity and success of those around me.
Help me not to be afraid of the leper in myself and others.
Help me to see that the only success lies in seeking Christ.
Help Gene. (thats Heather Kings friend and we can all pray for him)

Again, Happy Spring and if your in need of something interesting to do join us in the study of Lent. I keep thinking "how did I miss this" so fascinating.
