 We did an advent wreath with candles this year. Last year we did a gift box with twenty five numbers. It was a bit much. I like this approach to the up coming celebration. It was more focused on who Jesus is, was and is to come : )

Im having trouble updating my blog. So I was looking thru old drafts and look at this nice little girl I found : )  I guess if I cant figure out my blog problems, I will have to start a new one. Maybe thats the way to go. Fresh start. I like the sound of that. I think I could use on of those.

I dont want to spend money to blog. Even two dollars and forty nine cents a month. Im trying to bugdet/becheap.  My nice husband said I can, but I still dont want to. I do like to have my little Etham farm blog. So I guess I will have to upgrade my storage. Hi Heather, new pictures coming soon. Miss Paula loves you James, Joyanna and Lydia : )

On my trip to Florida I got to see my Grandmothers sister and her daughter. Im the tall one. I am missing my mother this Thanksgiving. We had a nice day with our children who all live home. Not much traveling going on. We were supposed to visit Nikki in a few weeks for early Christmas with our side of the family. Hard to do with no house to visit in. Stupid Sandy! Well anyway, Lord willing my new grandson will be arriving shortly and all will  look hopeful once again. New life does that. Reminds us to have hope, for them, for their future. I would post some new pictures, but my blog is saying I need to update to a bigger file. The girl who never wanted a computer has filled up a blog????? Thats cool  : )    Miss you Mom, wish you where here, instead of there. Poppy said maybe he will buy me a unit next to yours.......Hes awesome!

 Its been a long few weeks. From prepping for the storm Sandy. To trying to recover from the storm. Also trying to purchase gasoline on the proper day......sheeeesh  I kept missing my day.  Gas rationing is not for the faint hearted. Today my husband  took mercy on me and got me a full tank. Not that I have been going anywhere as Im not a fan of driving while the traffic lights dont work. Its done something weird to the people as well.   Many of the lights are now working properly, but the people are just driving around........like whatever....dashing about as if the laws dont apply at the moment. I hope the upcoming week brings a little more normalcy back.  I pray many will come to Jesus during this interesting turn of events. It has really brought out the best and worst in people.
