We took a few days and went to the beach. This is Seaside Heights NJ almost one year after the hurricane. It was nice because it was so empty. I was surprised how much is still washed out after a whole year.

 Here is Nikki and G. This was Nikki's first day with short hair. The radiation treatments are making it fall out so she got this cute cut. Big G was so sweet and just kept saying how much he liked it. Her told her to forget the wig and go with this : )   

 This is Leos first trip to the ocean. Grandma was glad to share this special day with them : )

 Nikki said she hasnt the patience for flying kites. Well guess a little brain cancer will give you patience. There is a blessing in everything. At least we like to think so ! Keep her in your prayers!!!

 The kids want to go back this week. Yah, um no.....the way people drive Im not sure when I will get back. I found the drive to be weirdly stressful. Next time I go, I just might stay : )

 Meanwhile back home this is our current project. Replacing that roof. It was made before plywood, so its a bit tricky. Kevin is doing a great job with it. Ill post when its finished. I love this old building. I would hate to loose it. Im glad he is fixing it.

 We had some really tall sunflowers. Almost reaching the upstairs window.

 This is a fairy door. You put it in the garden and hopefully a fairy will make her home in your garden : )

 Isnt he cute. They really are cute when they are little. But alas they get big. REALLY big. The heaviest bears caught in the hunt in  the tri state area all had NJ tags.
