After all the rain and rain and then some more rain the local frog hunters are just thrilled with their catch.
No froggys were hurt in the making of this film and were returned to their little froggy homes.

Summer has been in her stall for three days since her accident, except for when Gideon walks her a few times a
day. Her injury is looking yucky. I warned you ....close your eyes if you want. He is taking great care
of her. Tomorrow if it doesnt rain she will get to go out in a side pen and visit her friends over the fence for a few hours. I warned you this is gross. Poor girl. It isnt stitched because the Vet said it
wouldnt hold in the spot the injury is in. She has blunt muscle trauma too. The post went in pretty far. Thankfully no veins were ruptured. Pray that she will continue to improve. She has been a good friend to us.
Heres Gid taking good care of that wound. He is a trooper. He will be going to farrier school in Oklahoma in the near future. The gift of not being squeamish sure comes in handy with some things.
We made it through the hurricane. Our canoe floated down the hill to this spot. The monkeys
are back in the trees.  This orange bucket was full of huge nightcrawlers and worm castings that I
was supposed to dump in the garden. I didnt get to it before the storm and they all drowned.  I felt so bad about that until Kevins friend found out his missing brother had drowned in the floods. The family was looking for him after his truck was found in high water. Pray for them to be comforted during this difficult time.
Here is Caleb with his silly grin on. Gideon is hand walking Summer after her accident. Ill post pictures. Buy beware....its really gross. The poor girlie jumped up and landed on a fence post and impaled herself.
And if you ever wonder why this blog lacks pictures of Miss Little Paula it is because she is a picture avoider.
Our cat, Buttercup made it through. She has been showing her age this summer. She spends her days in the greenhouse in a terracotta planter that must feel like a heating pad on her old bones. She is completely deaf, but mouse s beware. She still brings me presents of little hearts and lungs to my back door. What can I say. She loves me : )
